I can remember sharpening knives for family and friends since I was ten, almost 50 years ago. In 1984 I moved to Vermont and made a few hunting knives and also started sharpening local hunters knives which I enjoyed very much. This summer I began sharpening at the Bristol Farmers Market, the Middlebury Farmers Market and at my shop in Bristol.
This summer I had a great time at the farmers markets and I sharpened a few hundred knives. Now that they are over I will go mobil and setup routes in the Champlain Valley. If you would like me to come to your area and can arrange a group of your friends or neighbors to have their knives sharpened, contact me.
All Knives: $3.00 and up, depending on condition and length of blade. Reshape a broken knife tip: Starts at $2.00 Hunting Knives: $5.00 to $10.00
